“Light on My Feet” is a romp through one person’s avocation, and its effect on his life. In his new cabaret, Mr. Squeri performs an eclectic mix of songs from the Great American Songbook, like Irving Berlin’s “Top Hat, White Tie, and Tails” and “The Best Things Happen While Your Dancing”; to novelty numbers like Hugh Martin’s “Gotta Dance”, and songs from more recent cabaret songwriters, such as David Friedman, and Steven Lutvak, with arrangements by Rick Jensen, Beckie Menzie, and Mary Sugar.
